A multi-objective decision-making model for renewable energy planning: The case of Turkey

چکیده

The rapid increase in the world population along with rising trend of global economic growth triggers serious problems related to energy consumption. In this regard, a comprehensive analysis current and potential situation light demographic trends, main indicators, technical conditions, social environmental concerns has become significant issue for developing well-planned regional strategies. study, multi-objective decision-making model is constructed renewable planning determine most appropriate resource diversity Turkey by focusing on five sources, namely solar, wind, geothermal, hydroelectric, biomass. There are four objective functions presented proposed including maximization score regions, job creation, score, minimization cost. As solution methodology, two-phase fuzzy goal programming approach performed. solved using LINGO software as solver optimization. appropriateness method analyzed comparing it other methods. Results reveal that majority demand should be met via solar hydroelectric energies satisfaction indicated objectives.
